Eagle: Fantasy Golf

Price: Freemium

Eagle: Fantasy Golf is one of many freemium golf games. This one features anime style characters and graphics. You also get a campaign, online PvP, team chats, character customizations, and more. The mechanics are easy enough and online PvP is as frustrating as most freemium games. There is also an equipment upgrade system, hence the freemium price tag. It’s not bad by any stretch, but it’s about as good as a freemium game can be really.

Flick Golf Extreme

Price: Free / $2.99

Flick Golf Extreme is part of the Flick Golf series. It’s one of the most popular arcade golf games on Android. It plays a lot like the arcade golf games you see in bars and similar establishments. You flick your finger to hit the ball. The quickness of your flick determines the distance. The game features decent graphics, leaderboards, and unique maps. It has the occasional bug, but it rarely affects game play. It’s also fairly inexpensive.

Golf Clash

Mini Golf 3D City Stars Arcade

Price: Freemium

Mini Golf 3D City Stars Arcade is one of only a few decent mini-golf games. Even so, it’s only decent. There are a variety of courses to play through along with online PvP, a chat function, challenges, and more. It’s a freemium game with an energy system. That’s kind of lame. However, you can get more energy by watching ad videos instead of paying real money. It’s not ideal, but it could be worse also. There are some complaints about the game’s physics and controls, but otherwise it’s above average for mini golf games.

Neo Turf Masters

Neo Turf Masters is a mobile port of an old console golf game of the same name. It features retro graphics and a bunch of stuff you usually don’t see. That includes local multiplayer support, hardware controller support, Android TV support, and offline support. This one goes for $3.49 with no additional in-app purchases or advertising.

OK Golf is a surprisingly decent golf game with some decent features. The graphics are pretty decent, even if all of the backgrounds are a dull gray. This iteration includes 20 golf courses, two online PvP types, various power ups, a bunch of playable characters, various customization elements, Google Play Games achievements, various game modes, and more.
